Gengar will be available to battle in 5 Star Raids this time around. Going along with the spooky theme, the creature will be sporting the Ghost Tera Type.

Pokemon X Y cut content

As park of this week’s Game Freak hack / leak, fans have uncovered a bunch of cut content for Pokemon X and Y.

Developers always consider various ideas while making games. It turns out that Game Freak had various potential plans in mind, but ultimately scrapped a number of different things – including a fairly extensive racing minigame with Rhyhorn intended to invoke the feeling of Mario Kart.

Here’s the roundup of cut content found for Pokemon X and Y:

Pokemon Scarlet Violet Tera Raid Amarouge, Ceruledge, Stonjourner, Eiscu

There’s a new Tera Raid Battle event for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet on the way, and rather than one or two Pokemon, it’ll feature four – specifically Amarouge, Ceruledge, Stonjourner, and Eiscu.

Each of them will be appearing in 5 Star Raids. No matter if you have Scarlet or Violet, you’ll be able to encounter the full set.

Game Freak leak statement

Game Freak, the studio that handles the mainline Pokemon games, has now issued a statement about the company’s leak / hack.

Yesterday, tons of information about Pokemon started pouring out, revealing details about certain plans, beta creature designs, and more. That has since continued today with details concerning movie and movie projects.

Game Freak has now come forward acknowledging the leak with an official statement. The company says that last month, a third party gained unauthorized access to a server. Unfortunately, personal employee data is a part of the leak – Game Freak says names and email addresses were on that server.

Below is the statement in full from Game Freak:

Game Freak hack leak

Game Freak, the main developer of Pokemon, appears to have been hit with a significant hack. As a result, source code for various games, behind-the-scenes information, and more has started to leak online.

Thus far we know that source code for Pokemon Heart Gold / Soul Silver and Black 2 / White 2 have surfaced. A few codenames are also popping up, including “Gaia” – which is apparently what Gen 10 is going by internally. Speaking of which, the new gen is apparently being developed for “Ounce”, which supposedly confirms Switch 2’s codename. And for those curious, “Ikkaku” is the codename for Pokemon Legends: Z-A.

Infernape 7 star Tera Raid guide Pokemon Scarlet Violet

The 7 Star Infernape Tera Raid Battle event for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is live now. It continues from now until October 6, and then comes back for a second run from October 11 to October 13. This superboss is running Tera Rock, which gives Infernape extra coverage in addition to its normal Fire and Fighting-type attacks. If you’re looking to take down this opponent, check out our tips and strategies below.

Pokemon Scarlet Violet Infernape Tera Raid Battle

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet are planning yet another Tera Raid Battle event, and this time, players will be able to take on Infernape.

Infernape will appear in 7 Star Raids, which is what we typically see. The creature comes with the Rock Tera Type and the Mightiest Mark. You’ll be able to catch it just once per save file.

In the early days of Pokemon – we’re talking back on Game Boy – many Pokemon suffered from incredibly small movepools. For example, Scyther didn’t have access to a single Flying-type move in Red and Blue despite being a half Flying-type itself. Fortunately, the developers have fixed this issue over the years, and now many Pokemon have huge movepools. That being said, certain move decisions are questionable at best. Some Pokemon have access to certain moves that don’t make a ton of sense thematically, and today we’re going over a big list of some of the strangest movepool additions in the Pokemon series.

The 7 Star Serperior Tera Raid Battle for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is live now. It goes from now until September 22nd, and then it comes back a week later from September 27 to September 29. This time, Serperior is running Tera Grass, which boosts its signature Contrary Leaf Storms to nuclear power. That means you’d better have Sap Sipper or a really solid and bulky Grass-type resistance. If you’re looking to take down this tough opponent, check out our strategy below.

Pokemon Scarlet Violet Tera Raid Battle Serperior

Heads up for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet players, as the next Tera Raid Battle event is coming and it stars Serperior.

Serperior can be found in 7 Star Tera Raid Battles. Aside from featuring the Grass Tera Type, it’ll have the Mightiest Mark. Similar to past events, it can be caught once per save file.
